Our Mindfulness Course

The benefits of mindfulness and meditation are broad and extensive with fresh research and evidence year on year only adding to the firm list of reasons to use these tools to support your own well-being.   This course offers eight weeks of learning, both theory and practical to gain real understanding of exactly how and why these techniques work so well.

Our 8 week Mindfulness and Meditation programme helps people learn the techniques and practices in order to develop their own meditation practice.

So, what's included in our course?

Eight online weekly classes of 90 minutes. (This consists of: learning time/reflection and sharing, guided meditation practice and journal time). Each week has a new focus.
Daily home practice and exercises.
Pre and post course personal assessments.
Accompanying course workbook which includes session summaries with information overview, further reading and references where appropriate.
Studio guided meditations to support solo practice.
Ongoing support, during and after course completion.

What’s needed to take part

Availability for class dates

Commitment to attend and engage with classes and to practice each day for 25 minutes, plus additional brief assignments.

Paper or a notebook to hand for notes/reflections and a journal or notebook for use solely as your meditation diary, you will have the option of  an accompanying course workbook, if this serves you

Charge

The cost for the programme is £180 which is payable prior to commencement of the course. This cost includes all the resources needed (recordings, workbook, assessments, summaries and one-to-one time where needed)

If you have previously completed this course with us you are welcome to repeat on a donation basis. Please get in touch to discuss.

When is the next course?

Each course runs over 8 weeks, online, every Wednesday evening from 7pm-8.30pm.  The next dates are just being arranged so please get in touch with gill@zafu.org.uk if you wish to reserve a place or if you have any questions.
